Outstanding Academic Advisor Awards

Missouri S&T has established the annual Outstanding Academic Advising Awards to recognize those who are contributing to the continual improvement of our educational environment.

The acknowledgement of outstanding academic advising encourages greater support of advising activities on campus, reinforces the importance of advising excellence, and provides incentives and motivation to improve the relationship between Missouri S&T students, faculty and staff.

The Outstanding Academic Advisor Award is given to four faculty members, one staff advisor, one freshman advisor, one transfer student advisor, and one PRO advisor resulting in eight annual awards.

Any Missouri S&T faculty or staff member who serves as an academic advisor to students is eligible to receive this annual award.  Faculty and staff are not eligible for this award during consecutive years.
